Actually... it's sad to say, but I made that sign for work. When I started at that company (oh so many years ago... how many? oh damn) there was no place for motorcycles to park. I started talkin' to the only other guy there who rode, an old biker (the real kind, not RUB kind) who rode a HD and we were both bitchin' that we had no safe place for bikes to go. So I created the signs and moved the parking stops (cement barricades) and created motorcycle parking on both sides of the building. 8 years later, it's time to order some real signs and some real stops and finish the motorcycle parking area.

Anyway... thanks to the kind words, you guys. I'm stoked about having a new ride. So far she's proved to be every bit amazing as I suspected her to be. Once I get the Givi set up and a taller wind screen, we'll see if she lives up to her potential.

Ahhhh... I got it. I've not seen that movie. I know, I know... how tragically unhip of me.

The plan is to actually ride the damn thing now that I own it. I brought 'er home on Friday and I rode her about 20 miles since then (busy weekend). I'll get saddle time in this week, though. And I'm finally gonna invest in a damn digital camera. I've waited far too long not to have one.

I'll post more pics of the sexy beast in places that are not my work!!

Yeah... she really does have that look. My son, a big fan of Japanese cartoons (anime), loved the name: Gundam FZ1... I bought him a textile riding jacket and let him pick out a helmet for himself this weekend. He's never ridden on a motorcycle... and the FZ will be his first time. I was shocked when he said he wanted to ride on it.
