Wood+vibration=parts scattered all over the road behind you and splinters in your azz.
No Thanx.....

Isn't that the new Wooden Indian I've heard about?...
They said the company was coming back with new models, do leathers also protect from slinters?

Actually wood is more resistant to vibration (fatigue) than *any* metal. I wonder if it really runs??
That bike shows more talent and ingenuity than any of the "me-too" crap seen on the custom-bike TV shows. I like bikes and beer, guns and girls, barf. Just my opinion, of course.

I'll admit the wood itself is vibe tolerant, but the joints and attachment pionts ain't.

Can't argue with that.

wood more vibration tolerant than steel? you guys are trying to mislead people. even if it WERE true, steel is several times (say, dozens) stronger than wood per weight OR volume, so it would be a non issue. but no, steel flexes MUCH further within its usable strength than wood, and also has that nice tendancy to simply bend when pushed too far, rather than crack or violently explode or shatter like wood....
that being said, hell yeah I wood ride it, just hope the exhaust wont burn it too much. it wood be much lighter and leaf all the other bikes behind
