This is my home-made 'keychain'....

Image

Yep, it's one of those curly shoelaces that kids(and my wife) like to wear in their shoes, cut to size and sewn together around the key. No clunking, no rattles, no scratches. And it fits around my wrist, gloved or not, so it always comes with me when I go in to pay for gas or what have you..... it's even faggy purple-n-black to match the bike

Cost... less than a buck, and that's for a pair. And I am not paying for free advertising to some company.

They want me to mean their products, they can pay me for it, not the other way 'round.

I've seen BuzZz's Yammy go firsthand  , I wouldn't be making fun of him :P LoL

Personally, I've still got the little leather keychain that came with my bike from the dealership. Black leather with a little gold embossed on it that says Honda Extreme. They gave me a great bike at a good deal, I don't mind having thei name on my keys.

Also being somewhat more serious.... gear ain't the only way to mean yourself out. Parking signs, plate holders, posts on bike forums.... all ways to do the same thing.

The only time you'd ever use the parking lamps is if you were on the side of the road (broke down) and wanted to leave the lights on for safety but kill the engine and remove the key. In that scenario, you would remove the key, click the ignition switch one click to the right, kill the engine via the kill switch, and do your thing. That way you could even walk away from the bike and nobody could steal the key. You could also use it to wire up accent lights or strobes for use at shows and feel safe knowing you're not leaving the key behind.

Nice! Not a good idea to post your plate number though, I'd take it down.
