I've got an EN454, the forerunner of the Vulcan series. Forget about moving across that expanse of wet grass. I've ridden across a muddy field once and even straight up and down the hill was hard enough. Get yourself a good ground anchor and a sturdy chain and leave it out front.

Well, if the grass is already wet, you could just pour some cement on it, wait a few days, and, wallah! A nice bikewalk!

I also live in South Florida, what area are you in? Im in Kendall... I took the MSF class down at the Race Track in Homestead.

Hey. I live in the Miramar area. I grew up in east kendall however. I'm taking the MSF course over near Fort Lauderdale Executive airport with "Motorcycle Safety of Florida, Inc". I'm looking forward to it, and perhaps passing the test first go.

BTW, I was driving down the turnpike from up here to the FIU campus and I saw a ton of motorcycling groups passing by northbound. Perhaps there was some sort of rally down here, or perhaps the keys.

They used to hold a race down there about this time every year. Then a bunch of chopper guys started showing up at the same time and sort took the wind outta the sails of the racers. They started racing piddly lil 600's instead of the openclassers, butchered the track layout and it hasn't been the same since. They called it Daytona Bike Week or something like that. It's not that popular anymore, I'm surprised that enough bikes showed up to stand out.....

Yes, I do know I'm being a smartass. It's a brain chemistry-thing..... :?
