Maybe Next Year

It's October. I'd say the riding season is officially over, here in Michigan. There'll most likely be some good days outside of regulation, possibly all the way into December, but we could also get snow next week. So that's it. I didn't even put the battery in the bike this year. Maybe next year...though as I sit here today, the plan is for me to start a weekend MBA program next July and spend every other weekend on campus, about three hours from home. I can see that eating through any extra $$ that could've been earmarked for legalizing the XS.

But we'll see. Maybe next year.

Unfortunately, the lowest temp in the 10-day forecast for Phoenix is 38 degrees.... not cold enough for Divine Retribution (aka snow) to pay out Wrider for being a smart-a$$!!!

(NJ is in good company with Michigan and Kansas this a.m, it's 12 degrees here!)

Not to worry, I'll be driving through Utah and Colorado here pretty soon, and living in the Colorado high country where it's an average of 20 during the day... haha

Well, We Replaced It.

No, not the bike. The minivan. No more red POS Dodge van...we got a 2008 Chevy Uplander with 27k miles on it to haul the kids around. No more red van avatar...now it's the Volvo I drive.

Yeah, I drive a Volvo, and I'm on a motorcycle forum. You'd think I'd burst into flames or something.

It's a heat wave here...supposed to reach 35F degrees. Last week it was -15F degrees. Our snowbanks at the end of the driveway are higher than the car

Our street, from the end of our driveway.

Things aren't all bad...at least it's pretty.
