Sooo buzzz you're saying that instead of having a re-tard in the ECU now it's just got one riding it?
Very nice, when are you gonna get around to ripping all those purty plastics off of it?

Yep, one less re-tard is one less re-tard any way you look at it, and that's always better.

When you start piling re-tard on top of re-tard bad things happen. I just cut my 'tardy factor down by half!

I have had 2 'moments' on this bike, both due to that stupid ignition map. It didn't like taking throttle at low rpm and small throttle openings, it would buck and burble like me after a night out getting loaded. Most of the time, it was just annoying, especially in town. You had to be careful feeding it throttle in a corner. When you were giving it and hitting corners hard, it was not so bad. Trying to be a good boy and ride nice in town, it would lurch and buck. Plus it runs way better in traffic now.

The other day I was taking off from a stop and making a right turn, it coughed and then caught lighting up the rear tire when I had it cranked over hard at 3 mph. I caught it in time, but the dude in the SUV next to me backed off in a hurry.

The day before yesterday it did the same thing when I was turning around in a parking lot, but it didn't catch, just bucked and lurched, and I almost dropped the dam thing. One pissoff too many for my taste, and luckily I got ahold of the guy selling his TRE the next day. He had been trying to sell it for months, and lucky for me, I found it on Kajizzme, burried back in the ads about 2 months ago.

I officially decided that working on old bikes for flat-rate as a beginning mechanic sucks.
Two weeks of pay comes to less than 220 dollars. That's for 2 45 hour weeks (that's JUST the time I was in the shop working.)
I gotta find a better paying job, at this rate I won't even be able to make rent!

Geez, Wrider. :-( Know how you're feeling. Am looking for an extra part time job just to pay for gas to get to my primary job. God bless, sir.

Totally went on a girly girl trip today - bubble bath, even watched The Bachelorette (wtf?), painted nails, and all that sort of goofy stuff. The knee was feeling really good today - I'm finally able to jog comfortably, so did my two miles when I came home from work. Yay!

Yesterday loafed during the heat of the day...headed out for a nice long patrol of the East side of Indy after dark...Loved it.

Today...work work work. Priorities are all out of whack.
