I took my motorcycle in for servicing today. Routine stuff like oil, fluids, filters etc., new spark plugs....it did not need any mechanical fixing or adjusting...

I dropped my half helmet onto the concrete sidewalk....

I guess it will only be for demo purposes now. One drop and a helmet should not be worn again.

Then came home and had cherry supreme ice cream.

Said goodbye to my bike for a week, then moved back to school. Once there I realized I left a bunch of things at home. Oh well, at least I have you fine folks to keep me company.

I've been fighting it for years. When I moved to California, I got all sorts of awful looks for saying "y'all" and the stereotypical Texan words.

When I moved back to Texas, I got all sorts of awful looks for having a hint of a valley girl 'thing' to my words.

Now I'm a mutt. It's a combination of those two with the occasional weird Spanish twist on it.

Come down here to Alabama. I'm quite sure we have more drawl per capita than any other southern state.
