AAA

i just recieved by mail the affidavit of theft that i need to fill out.

i printed the online receopts i had for the stuff stolen w/ the bike as well as the aftermarket windscreen.

i don't have a receipt though for my frame sliders so too bad.

i hope they cover all of this. the helmet is what hurts the most regarding the xtras stolen w/ the bike.

also, im glad i haven't spent a lot of upgrades on the bike before it got stolen.

As long as you have pics of everything Verm you should be OK. Submit pics as evidence.

How much were you paying through AAA a year for full coverage?

$1900 - car(liability only) bike(full cov)

but i bet it will raise considerably eventhough it's not my fault that i lost the bike. :(

also, i don't have the car anymore so i'll get a new policy once i get a beater car and a new bike.

my policy doesn't cover rental but they said in the mail that they will still help me pay for rental at a rate of $20/day.

i dunno how much help that will be but i'll find out soon.

Dude you need to press the issue a bit. Don't sit back and wait or they'll think you don't really care. Be proactive not reactive.

Verm, look into the honda cbr600rr as well. I was almost heart set on the gixxer but I have since decided to go with the honda because...

1) Backorder. The gixxer is back ordered so I will have to pay MSRP.
2) The overall quality looks a bit higher on the honda.
3) The power band is smoother. Unbelievably I was able to get a test ride with both bikes.
