Yes it is used to affect lean angle - it is used to reduce lean angle.
It can also be used to increase lean angle, as in this video, which was made a couple weeks after I started counter balancing effectively.

For once, you're correct (that my opinion).
Counter balancing serves to

I take it that instead of advice that can prevent you from injuring yourself, you'd rather wait and get opinions on how badly we think you hurt?

Righty, as mentioned before, this thread is now locked.
Reason: Everything that can be said, has been said, and people are just repeating their points now. I love the fact that information is easy to find on this website, and people are readily willing to impart their knowledge, but lets not leave the topics to get so unwieldy that people looking for info can't find it without spending at least 2 hours trawling a thread.
Nice debating guys, glad you can keep it civil, and maybe some people will learn some valuable advice from it

Agreed. Thanks for making this 15 page thread friendly and useful, if abit overdone, it's helpful.
