I rode to my brother's place this evening to check up on his canine furry friend. My brother went to have a "happy" weekend with a woman he met....so I said ok, I would check on his pet.
I mentioned the word "walk" to the dog and she went nutzo.....so I put on her leash and took her out for an hour.
It's very interesting walking a "dog" that is half wolf/half husky. She is a very well behaved dog, but because of her appearance she attracts a lot of attention.
I don't even care for dogs, but I knew she would be so lonely without my brother there. She looked so lost when I was leaving. I'll go again tomorrow.

I hope she poops before I get to her of after I'm gone....
I so dislike having to pick up after her. ew..ick...Good thing I remembered to take a baggie with me.

I cleared out my desk at work. Next week I won't be there and when I get back I will be starting in a new position there. :D

I rode to work in the rain today.

Hmmmmm.... picking up poop, another good reason to not have pets. I don't mind animals, I just don't have time for them, so it wouldn't be fair to own one.

Had dinner in Santa Fe...

Wowee. I bet you've been able to find some really hot hot hot food down there.
:heat:

You haven't missed any great weather here. The sky was still covered with dark clouds tonight.

See, this is how dog ownership starts.... they give us "the look". You've already looked in her eyes and seen "the look", you've taken your first little step down that slippery steep slope that leads to......

Although they are lovely to look at...they are still dogs.

They look tall. Are they miniature standards?

Rode to the mall and had coffee with friend. Then rode to the insurance store and renewed the bike insurance.
Then came home and had a Cobb's Bakery cinnamon bun. Yummy.

I guess I'll ride over to my brother's and take his hound for a walk.
