Rode my bike around all mornng doing errands,registered a domain name, went to the bank and got some US$$ for the trip to Colorado.
I was wishing I had worn the mesh jacket today instead of the leather one with lining in it. It turned out to be a hot one.

Wore my mesh pants to class, thinking it'd be too hot for textile. It poured.

It would seem that the gods of biking still have you square within their sights....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Called the shop today to get an update on my bike.....seems they are only open Tuesday through Saturday and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Roll on Thursday.

Luckily that rain made for a perfect, cool early afternoon sprint through the countryside. I even had a new pillion. A girl I know has been begging to go for a few months, and I finally have a second set of gear. Overall not a bad evening.

I think I flipped off about half of Tucson tonight when I went out to relax and get some air. Seriously, I need to replace the frame-mounted fairing on the Road Glide with a frame-mounted 50 cal.
People crossing 2 lanes of traffic for no apparent reason, people just randomly changing into my lane as I'm coming up on them because they're only doing 35 in a 40, people only doing 35 in a 40 in the far left lane, people pacing each other at 40 in a 50, people making a right-hand turn in front of traffic in their little "procreating" piece of "poo poo" hyundai that just ain't no way no how gonna accelerate fast enough to beat my rolling start, and people sitting and waiting for a 2-mile opening before making a right hand turn at a red light, people driving in town and in traffic with their bright lights on, people tailgating me with their brights on, and people constantly flashing their bright lights at me.
I need to either invest in some stickers to carry on the bike that say, "Caution, this car is driven by a "procreating" moron," or invest in one of those collapsable batons that police are starting to carry.
So yeah, maybe I shoulda stayed home and played WoW tonight instead of going out for a 'relaxing' ride.

Just spent the morning at the vet's office.
Our English Mastiff had a seizure at 4 AM.
Just waiting for the blood work to come back.....
It's going to be a long day.
