That bike is leaned over WAY WAY more than Verm's. That's an extra 15 degrees or so.

This guy *has* to throw his butt off the seat to get the CG down further and give a tighter radius of turn. Verm throwing his butt off the seat just means that he doesn't have to lean the bike the extra 3-4 degrees down... but Verm's bike is hardly leaned anyway.

There might be something to be said for practicing it if you plan on riding at the absolute edge of the bike's turn performance, but it's accomplishing nothing right now.

You've got a *long* way to go before your knee hits the ground.

err... are you just basing that on the pics i've posted?

if so then that won't be accurate... this PLP was all morning i got around 80 miles of practice on that lot.

not all the turns where photograph and i got really close to touching accdg to some the guys that observed me on some of the turns i did.

but anyway... like i said. i know the problem. it's my handle bar inputs. i need to work on it. my form and my cornering speed is already ok for dragging.

also... like i said... i just wanna get it done and get it out of my system.

BTW... i like how i improved my upper body position.

my spine is alingned w/ my butt. that's something i was working on since before i only slide half my butt but not enough of my upper body. i also did good on working on my elbows.

my form has improved. :D

every saturday at 9a @ the shell station on the 210 ACH exit... there's always people there.
:D[/quote]

right, i see em there every week, they just meet up with who ever is there, i know there is a group i n Tujuna that rides up the reverse side every other week and they are really selective with who rides near em, they 'try out' all the people that want to go with em to make sure they know what they are doing, was wondering if those guys were ana like that or more lax about it. Where do you guys go, towards palmdale, up to wilson or out to azuza?

it depends on the group.

most of the time they just hit ACH... then upper big tujunga and AFH on the way to "the tree"

we usually hit upper big tujunga and AFH midway to avoid the bumpy parts of ACH. then that route takes us back to ACH and we head to nukes(newcomb's ranch).

i have been to mt wilson but there is a boring stretch of straight roads. on one group ride i went... we went all the way to wrightwood. im not really excited about going back to mt wilson and wrightwood. it's too far but not that much different.

what i wanna try though is ojai. it's far but i heard there this great part where the twisties are visible so you can take it very fast since it's not blind corners.

mount wilson has some very nice twisties as you get higher, and ojais a nice road, but the twisties arnt that twistie, hence why they arny blind, but its still fun

No, you just look scared. You appear to be hanging on for dear life with every muscle needlessly tense.

hmmm... i don't get it how it looks like im tense and i don't remember when that pic was taken.

in the early goings i was scared since im running brand new tires. both on the left hander drills and right hander drills.

then i got some confidence when i can smell burning rubber since i think that means the tires are being broken in.

anyway... i guess im not good at reading body language.

what signs show that im tense? i wanna learn how you read that.

also, do my other pics also look like im tense?

i have to admit there was a lot going on in my mind each turn i make. since im trying to figure out how i can make it work.

and after all the diagnosis i made... like i said... my problem is i need to make a sharper line and fix my handlebar inputs.

Oh give me a break. I come back here after being gone for months, and this crap is still going on.

Verm knows it all, and no one can give him advice.

I can get that lean angle than that on my Ninja 500, and I DON'T have to take my butt off the center of the seat OR stick my knee out.

It's plainly clear that all you care about is dragging a knee on the blacktop. Probably the only reason you bought the bike in the first place. That, and it's bright red...

You're nothing but a poser. The REAL bike riders must laugh at you behind your back. I know I would...

im sure there are some a$$hole riders here as well but im glad i haven't ran into them.

and like i said...

This is verm's blog. There is to be no bashing in a person's blog.
