I'm willing to bet my helmet that I know what forum he's talking about.

A friend and I went to bike night in Lacombe. I met Doris Maron, the lady that travelled the world on her Magna. Very cool lady and her bike has had a facelift with some very nice artwork on the tank.

Well let's see, my '93 Dodge Dakota pick-up turned 260,000 miles as I went and picked up a parts bike. My little brother Joe gave my the Yamaha 535.

This is the bike big brother Jim bought to learn to ride. When he moved on to a Harley he gave this bike to brother-in-law Doug. Doug went riding with Scott and I a couple of times, but Doug is a squid (passing on double yellow kind of stuff) so we stopped asking him to go. He got the message and gave the bike to Joe, who's son is permanently disabled due to a very stupid motorcycle wreck. Joe rode the bike twice and then just left it parked. And now it's here.

I escorted my friend (who I have been helping to learn to ride) to the motor vehicle office today.
He passed his skills test. Yay.
We celebrated by going for a ride over the bridge ond onto the highway and back.
Next task...getting him ride ICBC style so he can pass the road test.
He used to ride back in his own country buit had not ridden since he came to Canada in 1996. He can handle his motorcycle fine, but he lacks in the requirements for riding here.

sat around most of the week, haven't been able to log any miles in a while due to back and shoulder pain. picked up an xbox 360, though, so that's helping to pass the time.
blah. that's about it, really. i've been looking at lots of motorcycles online lately, so that should make it semi-on-topic, right?
