Uuummm, yeah... they said 'No'. Actually they said..... well I can't say what they said here. But they want to talk to you. If you hear loud banging and yelling at your door, better bail out the back way. Fast.

For some reason I've had dreams where I owned a early to mid 90's GSX-R 700 with the boxy fairing and no other bike. Not sure if it's a sign...

I dreamed last night that I was being chased on my dirt bike by a dude and his sons in a blue van because I slept with their cousin.
I finally wrecked on a bunch of big boulders and had to fight the dad while the two sons did nothing. I beat him up and they just walked away.
I guess it was a good night for bike dreams.

I was hoping to wake up to a new Ducati in my garage but no such luck.

I did go pick up my bike. Kind of pissed that they didnt scrub the tires but thats "extra" charge so I had to ride home in the rain (mind you its 39F right now) with unscrubbed tires. I must say these Pirelli MT66's RULE. they make the D404's I had seem like crap. I mean these tires GRIP the road like its life or death that they grab lol. Seriously I love these already and they grip BETTER on wet roads than the D404's did on dry pavement... So much so it took me a couple twisties to get used to how well they grip. I am beginning to realize more and more that aftermarket is the way to go for quite a few things like brakes, tires, etc etc. I did the same thing with the pads on my mini van. Went with aftermarket ceramic pads and OMG they stop about 100x quicker than the old OEM pads. Heck I had to slam on my brakes (well I thought I did lol) and I stopped from 70-0 way faster than I ever used to and again it was raining cats n dogs today. So instead of being 10 feet from the vehicle in front of me when I stopped I was more like 40 feet away.

I will also NEVER go anything less than SHOEI for a helmet ever. My old HJC el diablo helmet was friggen loud compared to my SHOEI. I didnt realize how loud the wind was in that helmet till I mean my SHOEI tonight. I couldnt hardly tell my bike was running it made things so quiet.

I don't know if my mind secretly wants the old GSX-R or that it's in store for my future. I mean a early - mid 90's GSX-R, why no other bikes end up in my dreams?

Yeah HJCs are known to be lightweight and creaky when the wind hits. I love my Nolan but it's pushing 4 years old so it needs to be replaced. First I have to get another bike otherwise getting a helmet will end up being a paperweight.

Yeah, my Dunlop 404s didn't last too long because after a certain mileage they began slipping in the wet and also began squaring out. The best tires I've had were the Continental Milestones. They had the Activated Silica tech to make riding in the rain pretty safe. They also helped my bike corner better and has a reinforced center so it won't square out. After 8,000 miles the tires still had a lot of tread left and the front tire barely lost any tread despite heavy front braking. They also regain grip quickly after running over wet manhole covers. The rear tire survived the hit but the rim didn't ha.

and that seals it, i'm officially in love. :inlove2:

EDIT: oh, and i got another new tattoo last night. this one's just a little one, though. and the ZX-6R is almost ready for pictures. just waiting on the flush-mount turn signals then i'll be done with aftermarket stuff for a little while, i think. they've been on back order since i bought it 2 1/2 weeks ago.
