I didn't mean to put anyone down who owns one, my fault.

They look like a blast from the past!

thanks, maybe it will slow my progress but maybe not...
Yeah, I guess all the seasoned riders on the board are wrong and you're right. My mistake. Also since EX500s are so expensive you wouldn't have any money left over to get in serious track time, too.

why would i wanna bring an EX500 on a race track? it's not a track bike while the gixxer600 is a great track bike. the RS125 R is also a great track bike but it's not for sale here.

anyway... my point is, if i can get regular track school and trackdays, my improvement will be faster.

even keith code teaches his students on ZX-6Rs and he has a good well respected school, at least to my knowledge.

Well...actually...the EX and GS500 are pretty decent track bikes. It's really all a matter of "run what you brung" etc etc.

And you probably don't have to worry much about them not giving you much of a settlement. I mean it's not an old bike or anything, so the retail value is probably fairly close to what it was when you bought it.

When my 1990 mustang was stolen, they gave me 3500 for it. I bought it for 600 and put 500 into it

wow! i guess they didn't look for the paperwork on how much you bought it for.

anyway... i saw this old mustang for sale on the way home. i really wanna go back and check it out. i like the old mustangs more than the new ones.

The old mustangs suck compared to the new ones as far as performance goes. The old fox bodies would bend off the line when drag racing.

At least it's a snazzy looking car. Has more character (and worse gas milage) than the newer, sleeker cars.

Though I gotta admit, the new one is a good looking piece of metal.

Edit: Whoa, apparently I'm a Legendary 750. Ha, beat that.
Have fun on the open /¦\

Might be a good car if you are willing to pay the high price at the pump and greater frequency to feed it. The old fastback mustangs look great, 327's I believe.

Oh, I didn't know you meant that old verm, I thought you meant like 80's or 90's. Those old 'stangs were nice, even though I'm not a big ford fan.
