Wow, that was a pretty old post. Anyhow I plan to join the Air Force once I am done with college. And no prostitutes are not the way to go.
I'm Army but the Air Force is a good deal. I don't know how many years of college you have left but if you can, get into ROTC. A commission is the way to go. I have 23 years of service and will be retiring soon and I can tell you there is a big difference between the pay of an O-5 and an E8.

I originally tried signing up for the US Marine Corps. but I figured I should finish school first (I don't trust being in the Reserves while in school). Then I was reading an article in a motorcycle magazines on the Air Force using motorcycles for various tasks which got me interested. But who knows, maybe I'll change my mind. I like having my hair and inch and a half long.

Hi,
I took the family out to Dan yr Ogof caves (saab 900). Looks like the wife left her jacket there, which will result in me having to go back (on the VN) to collect it.
Life can be ok as I haven't ridden the VN for a week (on hols).

Woke up, made some garlic pasta.
Rummaged around and got my work gear together.
Left a note for the UPS guy and went off to work(seems he got there ten minutes after I left).
Bought two packs of double stuff oreos, a beard trimmer, and some twix from K-mart.
Got money from ATM to pay for new helmet.
Went to work, trimmed beard in the mirror.
Called up roommates to see who was home and found out that package had been delivered, yay!
Had some cookies and milk around 5pm.
Read webcomics.
Checked out TMW.
Hmmm... me thinks I'll finish up with going to the gym and going home to try out my new boots.

I punched a wall

I'm regretting it less as time (and pain) passes

We went into Philadelphia, visited two architectural salvage firms, one motorcycle dealership, and one scooter dealership. Lord knows why we're going to scooter dealerships, she never wanted to ride the scooter back when we had one...

It was a Piaggio / Vespa dealership, they had the MP3 there. Kinda interesting as a engineering achievement, but as a practical motorcycle I don't see the point. If you want stability, get a car. If you want to lean, two wheels works best. If I lived in the city, I'd be interested in scooters, but for the distances and amount of freeway riding I do, they just don't cut it. The classic-styled Vespas
are cool looking though.......

Unfortunately there's no such thing as our "neighborhood Ural dealership"

The closest is Adamson's near York, PA, that's 125 miles, and they may or may not have a Ural in stock at any given time, it's not their main thing. I'd really like to visit Adirondack Ural, just a mere 300 miles up the road...

So far today I went and rode K-5 to Leavenworth and back. Then I went to the store and bought supplies for the football party at my house this afternoon. I put together my turkey chili and have it simmering on the stove. My BIL Doug had a BBQ competition yesterday and is bringing the leftovers like Racks of Ribs,
pulled pork,
and brisket.
Kick-off is 3:15
