Claude will set ya right. :)

Today I'm sending off the check for getting replacement parts for my hack.
"The check is in the mail"

Went to PT today and I'm definitely doing really well according to the therapist.

Oh, and 2500 posts!

First as I'm leaving Rushville I spy a squirrel in the road. I beep the horn and he starts running the same direction I'm traveling. Then, just as I reached him, he cuts left and I feel the bump. (Bye little squirrel dude) Then a couple miles down the road I see a large shadow on the road, except it's undulating and darker, and as I close it raises from the road to envelope me... and I ride through a flock of birds. I encounter another flock, how freaky. Then I saw a single large (looked like 4 foot tall) white bird just standind along the side of MO-92. All in all a fine day, and I still get to go to work.
Hmmmm flock of birds you say? Could it be...the dreaded...Canadian World Domination Flock coming for you?

I rode over to my student's place so we could get in a short practice ride before the rain started. I asked he if she felt ready to try the skills test....

She was...

So we rode to the DMV....she passed it this time.

She was so excited. Almost as soon as the test was over, it started to rain, so rode to a restaurant near her home to have a clebration lunch.

Then I worked at the union hall for 4 hours.

The city in Idaho my buds and I frequented for a coffee house/pub with an indoor pipe/cigar room passed a city wide smoking ban. Having our rights trampled in Washington and Idaho, we did the most sensible thing.

Expanded the shed in my back yard.

Not pictured was two weeks of shoveling, pickaxing and digging fun to get the foundation sorted.

We've got an insulated and, by this weekend, totally drywalled shed with lights and outlets.

Take that, nanny state!

I worked in the union office today calling drivers to fill essential service shifts.
I managed to get the shifts filled through Sunday.

Now, I am going on a night ride with some people. :)
