Haven't wrote in my blog for a while since "winter" has set in down here. But I'm still riding even though it's just around 0°/32°F some days, but then like today I was out and it was "warmer" at +9°C! Although it's a humid cold so it feels even colder. Not another motorcycle in sight. I worry a little being the only one out there on my bike as drivers are just not looking for you (understandably) and with the road/tires being cold it can be tricky sometimes. But of course, I've been riding forever and don't take chances in cold/very cold weather.
But enough complaining, at least I'm riding!!!
On a side note, I've started my Diploma in Financial Trading! It is an online course from a School over in Ireland and it's 3 times per week. I've always been data and analytically minded and Finance is about as much to that extreme as you can get. So I finally signed up for my courses and will hopefully be getting my CDP in Finance soon! Wish me luck, I need a 70% to pass.

Hi Mike,
Dallas is a bit colder and less humid than Houston and you are right about there being almost no bikes on the road. I did see a Ninja this morning on my ride to work, but that was my first moto sighting in about two weeks. It is nice to see you take your Italian girl out for a ride.
What is a "CDP in Finance"?
Safe Travels,
Richard

Hi Richard,
Looks like we are 2 birds of a feather then being out there on our bikes.
I think we will see many more riders out there in the next few weeks as spring temperatures start to come in. The Houston humidity isn't that fun, especially in the summer months... argh. I'll trade you some very hot and humid summer day for a few of your cool summer less humid days if you want.
CDP - Just a designation of trading (maybe for "Counter Retail Trader") as far as I am aware. My 2nd class is this afternoon in "Lesson 2: The Mechanics of Trading", should be fun.

Mike,
Thanks for the CDP explanation. My Google fu had failed to turn up anything that made sense and I always like to learn something new.
Best of luck, and analytical skill, on your new endeavour.
Safe Travels,
Richard

Many thanks! It's quite an intense course so far, I just did #3 and wow, that's very intense. So far so good though.

My Moto Guzzi V7 at that Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas today. Took these shots for our Riding Game thread:

Yes, there are saltwater crocodiles in there as this Bayou goes to the Gulf of Mexico.
