Hmmmmphhh.

I started mine today after changing the oil.....
It was up to 42 for an hour and a half.
Then plunged to 32. I wasn't riding or
working in that.

rode the Hammer to work today, a little cool on the way home (11:45pm) but still a very enjoyable ride in the crisp air.

Had my pre-op consult today, they're going to drill a big hole in my hip on April 2. hoping it won't cause a fracture or the head of the femur to collapse, which would end with me getting a full hip replacement. that's exactly why they're drilling the hole, btw, to hopefully postpone my needing a hip replacement.

funny how that works, isn't it? the possible side effects of the surgery are exactly what we're hoping to avoid. either way, i won't be doing much riding for prolly at least a month after the surgery, maybe as long as 2 months. gonna try to take a week off work right before the surgery to get some nice riding in.

oh and i rode the hammer to work again today, beautiful weather.

Yeah, maybe someday when you reach the ripe old age of 32 (in 2 weeks) you'll get to enjoy all the wonderful idiosyncrasies of aging gracefully. Yeah, I turn 32 in two weeks. Care to guess why they're hoping to postpone a hip replacement?

And how is the knee doing, you young pup? You kids heal so fast, I imagine it's just a memory by now, eh?

Scheduled a check out of the Honda Hotel. She should be ready 1pm tomorrow. Now just need to arrange a ride so I can pick her up.
