Oh yeah Mike those always help out! I'm thinking of a few different bikes, but the short list is Busa, FJR1300, Concours14, and ST1300. Followed closely by the FZ1, the 919, and the Strom 1K

Best of luck with the savings! And congrats! :D

Today I stood outside of the office building for 1 1/2 hours with 400 other people waiting for the police to clear a bomb scare. Seriously!

Yeah that NT700 is a very nice ride, but personally I like me some upper triple digits!
But only on the track, under strict supervision by professionals, and with a full accident alert team standing by.... Ummm isn't that the answer you told me to use Buzzz?

Today is 6 months, 1 week, and 1 day after my wreck. In fact at this hour it's almost precisely that long.
I got back on a bike today for the first time since my accident, took a friend's Sportster 883 around the block and back up to her house for her. Man it felt WONDERFUL to get back on a bike.
And I also discovered that a bike jack will NOT fit under a Sportster that's been lowered... haha Had to roll it up on concrete blocks to get the bike jack underneath it!

Wonderful, great stuff, good for you man! It can be difficult to get back on the saddle after an accident, I had to do it myself in 2001 after my crash, but I learned from it and became a better rider. :D

There is always (and will always) be that "feeling of freedom" in a rider that cannot be replaced by anything else other than riding a bike (again). It's something wonderful IMO.

Congratulations! It sounds like it was a very positive experience for you (getting back on the bike, not getting in the accident in the first place...lol). I look forward to seeing a photo of you with a new ride real soon. ;)

well im getting ready for my cruise that starts this weekend. cant wait. Though my mini-van is having issues. changed the thermostat and it helped but the engine still gets close to overheating. before I changed it the engine did overheat after I changed it the engine stayed around 1/2 way on the temp gauge. 2 days later its 3/4 before it cools back down eventually. Checked the bleeder valves and all I get is a bunch of air out no coolant. Gonna take the van in Thursday to see if they can backflush the system and get whatever blockage there is out. Hopefully that will work :D.
