I had a massive clearout of the house.
Die! unwanted clutter, die!
Hey Loonette, sorry about your thumb (Ouch!), but good to see you around.

Road the Duffy Lake Road loop today, videoing my buddy Jeremy being a hooligan on his Daytona......
At least that was the plan. Jeremy arrived with my brand new battery, installed it and still no joy.....now I get to start tearing down the starting system tomorrow starting with the starter button and work my way down to the starter motor.
All I get when I push the button is a single click from the solenoid and nothing else.....the tech I talked to on the phone swore it was a battery issue...oh well.
Meanwhile, my buddy is out having fun and I am stuck here going nowhere until I get it sorted.

I spent the second half of the day tarting around on a British motorcycle website for a change. I've decided that you guys are a lot more civilised.

Re: What did you do today...
on my vehicles whenever you get a single click it means there is either a shorted wire/broken wire between the battery and the starter OR a bad starter. Which on most motorcycles is actually a rectifier and a stator motor. Seriously I would check EVERY wire. I thought I had a problem with my stator at one time but it ended up being underneath the frame work 2 of the wires had rubbed right through that were coming from the stator to the rectifier. took me a half hour to find those damn things since they were tucked under and away so you couldnt see them till I pulled the wires out. Then I spliced em back together and life has been all goodceemes wrote:Road the Duffy Lake Road loop today, videoing my buddy Jeremy being a hooligan on his Daytona......

Found out my nephew had a photo selected to be on a Jones Soda label...
So next time you're looking for a Cream Soda, check out if it has this label...

How much is 355 mL? haha
Went to a dyno day yesterday. Saw a Dodge Ram 2500 put down over 1800 ft lbs of torque, and an Eclipse put down 641 HP. Then saw a supercharged busa put down 317 hp. All of those are uncorrected numbers at 6200 ft on a 20% humidity day at 55 degrees. Serious power there.
Did the mother's day thing today which was really nice.
