Today I took my Buell in for some warranty work. They updated the "charging harness" and flashed the EPROM. Being that Gail's was having a 36 hour sale I took my bike out there at 6:00 am. I would have gone when I got off work last night but when I called they couldn't find the service guy. I also picked up the sealing washers and an oil filter, so I can change the oil. I was finish by 8:00am.
Happy 50th birthday Ceemees

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I am going to hunt you down and make you life a living hell.....simply by sponging off you for the next 50 years.fireguzzi wrote:What idea? the one that implies that you are........... 50!!!ceemes wrote:

Good news is, bike is going to the shop for work and service, bad news is, they can't take it till next week....there goes the long weekend. Gonna cost about C$500 to get all the work I want done, done. Wish I had a proper garage to work in.
Always ask why.

You might not want to sponge of me, I just haven't got room in the budget for Polident and cod liver oil. Isn't that what all the old timers use ? Hmmm. Maybe we should ask Doc Barceemes wrote:I am going to hunt you down and make you life a living hell.....simply by sponging off you for the next 50 years.fireguzzi wrote:What idea? the one that implies that you are........... 50!!!ceemes wrote:

No worries mate, don't use Polident nor Cod Liver Oil, however I will avail myself of your steaks, booze, beer, broads, bikes, fuel, TV and any and all other goodies you have about, at least for the next 50 years or so.fireguzzi wrote:You might not want to sponge of me, I just haven't got room in the budget for Polident and cod liver oil. ceemes, sorry. I somehow overlooked this email exchange.
I agree with you fully: calendar age is a burearcratic matter and entirely the concern of other people. It's their reality, not yours.

I had breakfast with my sister, coffee and talk with a friend, walk around the hardware store looking for cabinet hardware...turns out they are not all standard size..I have to go back with my existing ones to match up the dimensions.

Re: What did you do today...

Worked on my dads car and found a bad brake light switch. Hurt my back again in the process. Cooked some yummy chicken. Read some more of my book. (Insomnia)
