Be cool to your neighbors bro! You never know when you'll need em for something. It's a dilemma for sure, you need practice and your neibors want no traffic and quiet streets. Talk politely to him and see if you can work out an agreement. If not, it may be in your best interest to practice elsewhere.

Well, I'm not all that interested in being an "O Ring" to the the guy, but I do want to be treated with some semblance of respect. After I get my license (this saturday), I'm not going to bother being quiet when I ride by his house. But I'm not really the kind of person who trashes his stuff or whatever. I just liked the idea sev had about following him and making a list of his traffic violations, just because it will freak him out, and show him that he was doing a lot worse than I was.

Sounds pretty petty and asinine to me. Be the bigger man and move forward. Last thing you need is to be known as the biggest dick in the hood.

You hate to be an "O Ring", but sometimes people push you too far.

I had a neighbor once who always mowed his lawn on Saturday mornings at 6:00am. I asked him several times not to, but he insisted that that was the only time he could do it.

The next time he had an outdoor pool party, I decided to break-in a new R/C airplane engine in my yard. Of course, I had to remove the muffler so it wouldn't put backpressure on the engine. Took me about 3 hours to go through a full gallon of fuel.

He didn't mow his lawn at 6:00am after that...

Lol, yeah, it is pretty petty. Buuutttt, that doesn't mean I don't want to do something. I most likely won't end up doing anything, except riding by his house once or twice. And nobody in the neighborhood even knows eachother, so I doubt I'll be known as anything. But anyway, this topic was started mostly because I was pissed at this guy, now it's been a day, and I've cooled off, and I'm not too mad about it now.

I hear ya man, but this is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbor(s). You gotta live with these people all year long you may as well make them your friends and not your enemies. You know know what you'll find out about a neighbor and it's great to have them look after your home and stuff for ya too. Everytime I moved that was the first thing I did was get to know my neighbors and to let them know they could trust and count on me. I know I never have to worry about anything going wrong at my house and if I need someone to watch my dog or take care of something at my house, I've got a list as long as my arm of people who will help me out.

Basshole's right man, maybe the guy was just havin a bad day himself, which is forgivable.

- or maybe he's had problems with bikers in the past, in which case, it's be a good thing for you to what Dichotomous suggested....

Yeah, like I said, I probably won't do anything, I was just pissed at first. But yeah, I guess he didn't do anything particularly horrible, it was just irritating.
