For the Metal guys...need to check out Zakk Wylde. He is/was Ozzy's guitarist...been playing with him since he was 18. He puts out about two albums a year under his name or his band, Black Label Society. He does all out metal, Acoustic albums and even some twangy redneck blues. He is one of the last true metal guitarists around.
Grew up with Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Ozzy and so forth. Can't stand music today. And am pissed off that Bob Rock killed Metallica.

Bob Rock took over being Metallica's producer when the "Black" album came out...which is when they started into the abyss.

The Black album kinda brought everything together for Metallica, lyrically and musically. They steered away from there 6 - 9 minute songs and lost their 20 tempo changes per song. Scaled them down to be received by the general public. It worked, but I saw it as the beginning on the end.
And give Dave Mustaine a break...He has been screwed by Metallica since they kicked him out of the band! Megadeth's album Youthanasia is what Metallica's "Black" album is. It had a chance to win metal album of the year until Metallica dropped theirs into the running.
I think I heard Megadeth is going to be releasing a new album soon. Last I heard, Mustaine a couple of years ago was in a car accident and had nerve damage to his pick hand. They thought it was temporary...guess it was.
