Like many of the other posts the shifting thing was a question mark for me when going to the MSF..you get through it though. The MSF bike didn't fit me real well, I found it a pain to get my foot under the shift - it felt clumsy..but the constant message about not looking down is critical...and don't be staring at the instrument cluster either.
Once I picked my ride it took about 500 miles to get the feel of when to shift...the sound and feel of the engine relative to the road speed ..it doesn't take long.
