This was just another lame Moto thread. People are still waiting in line to buy Harleys and it doesn't look like the trend will end unless the enconomy takes a downward turn.jmillheiser wrote: Pretty much everything I have been hearing has been indicating the opposite that HDs sales keep going up.

I guess the same applies to getting a womans name tattooed on your arm. She is going to cost you a lot of money and cause you a lot of drama, so what does a little more pain matter?BRUMBEAR wrote:I still have not seen a honda tattoo on anyone latley.

What kind of mentally challenged gets a brand name tattooed on their body?
Besides those folks that sell space on their hides on Ebay.

Is your country's flag being turned into just another corporate logo by mega-corps? If so, yes.Gummiente wrote:And does your sentiment also apply to members of the Armed Forces?Seca Girl wrote:Bingo.
Extreme brand loyalty is almost a mental illness.
Oh, and I'm a vet, are you? (Nice attempt at an ad hominem attack, BTW.)

There was nothing irrelevant about it. If you view "extreme brand loyalty" as a mental illness, then it stands to reason by your definition that anyone who shows extreme loyalty to country, branch of military service, family, etc, by way of a tattoo also has that same illness.Seca Girl wrote:Is your country's flag being turned into just another corporate logo by mega-corps? Harley-haters are a dime a dozen, so you're really nothing special in that regard, but anyone who infers that I have a mental illness because of my Harley tattoo - and my military branch tattoo and my family crest tattoo - is clearly not playing with a full deck themselves.
And yes, I am a vet.
