Oh, and several cloves of garlic in case I encounter vampires. :P

And where can we get a homeopathic first aid kit?

"You are burned. Poison ivy produces a sensation like being burned. Therefore poison ivy is a burn treatment...so I'll go into my first aid kit and dig out my pressed ivy juice and apply it to your burns!"

I love it! :)

This is my camping/backpacking kit. It fits neatly into my backpack which I always carry on the bike.

I haven't used orthodox medicine in thirty years, not even taken an asprin. Orthodox medicine is the third biggest killer in the U.S. after cancer and heart disease (it's probably the same here) and my doctor damn nearly killed me with it in my twenties. It took me five years to recover. So, thanks but no thanks. (I'd probably accept some orthodox procedures in a life-threatening emergency situation - but that's the only time it is of any value IMHO. Apart from that, it's crap, for all sorts of reasons). 'Scuse the rant :D

Personally, I've had very good results from complementary therapies, including homoeopathy. I worked as a homoeopathic pharmacist and shiatsu practitioner for many years, so I've seen the excellent results in others too.

The best/only real thing you can do for serious burns until help comes is keep them cool. Carry some water, that's all you need.

personally I dont carry any first aid stuff.. I figure if I get into an accident what I can do with a simple first aid kit really wont be at all usefull. If I get into an accident at work, well we have first aid stuff there and an emt on staff :)
