Dry your bike off after washing

I brought my truck through a touchless carwash here in town. The thing blew the bug deflector off the hood...Id hate to see what itd do to my personal "accessories"

you know that sticky stuff on the inside of the bug deflector that goes under the hood? Yeah your supposed to stick it to the underside of your hood

haven't washed mine yet since it's new, but I'll use leaf blower and microfiber towel for sure.

I do either the leaf blower method or the hurry up get on it and blast down the road for about 10 minutes.

Where did you get that info? I'd like to check it.

I have the system. The cartridge is just a water softener cartridge, removes the minerals from the water. That's why you don't get white spots. How would that remove the clear coat or damage it any more than rain water? I have hard well woater, and the white powder left when water dries leave water rings and is abrasive. That has to be worse than the softener cartridge on the Mr. Clean system.

other than the fact this thread is a year old I think your right. It most likely is that people with cars that have a recall because of being improperly painted just happen to have had the mr clean system in use. So thus they blame the mr clean instead of the real problem being the manufacturer.
