MotoF150 wrote:No, what I mean I will charge $50 per hour, everybody splits the bill, and Im planning on making the ride 4 hours long, thats $200 total, as many riders I get everybody splits the bill to make the $50 per hour, like if I get 5 guys, everybody pays $10 per hour, lunch will only cost me $5 per person, like if I get 10 guys thats only $50, I still make $150.

Well at least he's got the math down, it only took him three separate posts to do it, but by dammit he did it.

Damn - I got in on this thread wayyyyyy to late. I'd love to have Moto as my tour guide. I'm sure the first stop we made he'd tick some 300lb biker named "Tiny" off and there would be tattered clothes and teeth everywhere. UFC fights aren't cheap, so this would be a good alternative for less than $20 PLUS lunch!

Haha, I'm with you bubba jump, I almost missed this, and it's just too good.

Moto, first of all, how would you advertise this? Where are you going to find a group of people who want to pay you to let them follow you around.

Second, a real job would make much more money.

Third, by safe, do you mean shifting without the clutch?

Fourth (and I think this has been said), if 10 people come with you, and you buy them all lunch at say, 5 dollars. Then you only made $150. Not including the cost of your gas, your lunch, the cost of visiting these "historic" sites, and the cost of your medical bills after a Harley guy kicks your "O Ring" when you kick his bike over.

Around here, somebody has a poker run sometimes once a month, bike shows, and some type of ride, but what they all have in common a lot of people show up and many of those people show up alone by themselves with their bike, and everybody has to pay either $15 or $20 to ride and some of these poker runs get between 600 to 1000 people. People that own bikes, many new owners that never owned a bike before love to find someone to ride with and I can offer a service to them all they have to do is pay. Maybe some new riders are embarressed with their limited riding skills and I can offer them a safe slow ride offering them pointers on how they can improve their riding skills. I know a man and a wife that just purchaced 2 brand new Harleys, and they are afraid of taking the bikes out cause they think everybody is going to laugh and make fun of them cause they can't ride. I can be a caring and understanding, kind person that can make them feel wanted and relaxed.
