Shhh. Don't tell em. I don't wanna get caught.

A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

"Don't go wading without your wellies" - Kind of the same theme as "Dress for the splash, not the ride"

"Lick it before you stick it"

"Your character can be judged as much by your enemies as by your friends"

"You'll regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did"

Worst advice was from my parents - "Men don't cry"

Never get married...

(my boss is discovering the truth to that statement since his nuptials in January... can't say I never warned him  Oh... and don't get me wrong, I love my wife. I can't imagine being married to anyone BUT her... and she's not even standing over my shoulder while I type this. I swear. )
We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

Here's the best advice that the old Wizz has been handing out for 35 years +.
"Learn to act in such a way that the things you can do nothing about least affect you ."

The best motorcycling advice I have ever received is a toss-up between:

When in doubt, don't

and:

Your helmet can't fall off the ground.

The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.
