Sorry, I inadvertantly started the helmet/no helmet thread last night...and Verm pulled out the dead horse pic...no mention of knees touching the ground...yet.i totally agree with you, but due to the nature of forums and message board communications, just wait, this will turn into a HD vs. Sportbikes thread and then a Helmets vs. No helmets thread, then someonw will pull out the deadhorse.gif and Verm will talk about how his knee touched the ground (while praying at church)

he would be the best qualified to answer this thread as he is currently in the middle of demonstrating what he doesnt know on a bike thats way over his head and he is still alive to talk about it so thats something I guess.
I will say, I was looking at a GSX1300R closely lastnight, thinking on how hard it would be to go buy one. They are very comfy to sit on, and I bet they a super slick to ride too, I want one

Yea ... talk to his wife / mom etc... You need to convince them - YOU are the rider, YOU know better. They'll at least see how opposed you are to this.Gummiente wrote:Nothing, unfortunately. At this point, the sale is final. Is there anyone that owns a Hayabusa that has any advice? Its difficult for me to convince him how dangerous it can be because I have never ridden one.

you honestly need to make him listen. He doesn't have to sell the bike, tell him to buy a used ninja 500 or something. At the very least let him learn on yours.
