Unfortuanately, the law has to be applied equally to everyone or not at all.
you would make a great judge because that is exactly what we are getting
no law and order at all.

Newsflash, no law is applied equally to every person, and it never will be that way. People get breaks on speeding tickets. Law isn't applied to everyone equally, I guess we should throw away speed limits. So many instances of people getting special treatment that there would be no laws at all if we used that logic.

Death is not a penalty for speeding. I'm only talking about the death penalty.
Death is the ultimate punishment and can't be reversed. If the death penalty was applied equally I mite be in favor of it. However, the United States court systems will never acheive that.

Some notable quotes:
Yates: "I had made up my mind that I would to it. I just thought it had to be done, just the prospect of them growing up to be unrighteous."
Report: "She filled the tub after her husband left, he said, and removed the bath mat so that the youngsters would have no traction to try and escape."
Dr at Trial: "In my professional opinion, Andrea Yates drowned her children to help herself, not to help her children..."
The only sad part about this is that legally she is no longer eligible for the death penalty.

Nah, I like it better this way. She gets to suffer here on earth for a long while. It's worth my money, IMHO, to feed and keep someone who did such a nasty thing. Although I do wish we had more awful places to keep such people. Still, I think having to live with your own sin, have to stay here and live with your and other's judgment, and never walk the earth as a free person - that is what all those who don't value life deserve. Every one of these killers, rapest, child molesters and the like need to live until it is there time for true judgement. They get off to easy with death. Death penalty if for wimps.

That was fine when they had chain gangs and rock busters, but now they just sit around watching TV and eating free food.

You hope I get to ride into a lake and drown. You have so much compasion for the dead children that you hope I die for thinking killing is wrong. I don't think SOME killing is wrong, I think ALL killing is wrong. So I am therefore of the opinion that people need suffer in prison. If prison doesn't do the right job, that is a flaw in the system. I'm mad too about the deaths too.
But you wish I would drown so I would learn what it felt like to die like those children. So you think capital punishment makes sense for using against someone who doesn't believe what you do?
Sick man.

i stand corrected.it is better with the flaws in our system to provide these child murderers with the finest of accomodations and tearful counseling to convince them that it was really someone elses fault.after careful consideration i would like to be able to donate a kidney or lung should either one of these fine women need it.may they live long and prosper.

Does it really have to be one way or the other? I don't want them to have the lovely accomidations, and I respect your right to want her dead. What I don't get is why you want me dead for thinking different than you.
Your point was that anyone who thinks she shouldn't die, should in fact die themselves. Strong words man.
