Your head light can be as bright as you want it to be. The bulb inside the light can be replaced. Most bikes have a 60 watt high beam and a 55 watt low beam. I replaced mine with a 100 watt high beam and 80 watt low beam. However, the low beam still does not shine very far down the road. The bright light gives light a good ways down the road.
