You live in a first world country where you DON'T HAVE TO take matters into your own hands. The law dictates things. Don't believe me? Take a look at the pool of lawyers' bank roll.
Growing up in a third world country, I fought litterally every other day. Broken noses, bones, jaws - you name it, I had it. The difference between now and then? Back then, there wasn't police...ones that gave a dodo anyways. Besides, if police was there, you had to bribe them with favors or money to get anything done your way.
Do yourself and your future a favor by leaving the butterfly knives and katana on your walls for display. Breaking them by the law is way more rewarding than physically.
If you're into Martial Arts, discipline is its very essence. If you have trouble restraining yourself with unleashing the big Kung Fu grip, you need to brush up on discipline Martial Arts studies.
