PLP (parking lot practice) will help, but if you don't feel confident on whatever the stock tires on your bike are (they have to be better than mine) you definately should be looking at getting some good tires for your bike. I would suggest looking at the Pirelli line. They will offer more "stick" than stock and are very reasonably priced too.

Do think about what I said about getting a smaller bike or if you stick with the 750 it will take you a lot longer to do what you are aiming for. I bet if you got a Ninja 250R you would be at where you want to be next year. Then a Ninja 500R or GS500 you would be able to do with those bikes what you could do with the Ninja250R in 2 years more. Then the 750 in another 2 years more. (5 years total). Rather than spend 7-10 getting it on the 750. You might think I'm saying you must be a slow learner to take 7-10 years to get the skills to master that bike, but I'm assuming you want to MASTER it right?

oh if it's a PLP... then i'll have more confidence since there are people there to help if something goes wrong while im trying to touchdown.

plus, a PLP is a controlled environment so that's another confidence booster.

i already got new tires... im just waiting to wear down my stock tires since i don't wanna waste it. i have 3,656 miles and it looks like i can still get 1000-1,500 miles more form it judging by the wear it has right now.

i got the new pirelli diablo corsa III. i did the promo and will get the front for free.

and regarding... the changing bikes... don't wanna do it. i know i can do it on my bike... i just have to get the confidence and training i need. hence the PLP. before that day ends, i'll be draggin knees or i'll lowside trying. im that determined to do it on the PLP.

Looking to get something newer as I'd love to try out those radial tires everyone raves about. It will be another standard or close to it as I enjoy the standard riding position.
