I'm not seeing the quality...

i decided on sportbikes after the first time i heard the top end scream of an inline 4 at the track, there really is nothing like it. cruising doesnt appeal to me. i personally think cruisers arent as visually appealing as sportbikes (with some exceptions)

i also dont like the "bada$$" cruiser attitude. it cracks me up when i see some guy on his harley riding with a tough guy expression on his face, then he steps off the bike at a gas station and hes a gravity defying 5'8".

and id like to second the slim long legged thing

i don't have a problem w/ not so big guys on cruisers... it's nice to be not like everybody else.

i just don't dig the cruisers.

the Vmax concept is the exception though... i'd love to ride that bike.

Three cheers for the guys who like a slim and long legged physique! At 5'8" and 130...well, you don't get a set of 44DD's with a size 4!!

Always wanted a cruiser. Paint, chrome - YUM

I'm not that interested in sport bikes - maybe it's the bad image the guys around here portray the sport bike thing as. I am sick of the wheelies they always pull when I ride past them on the road, and all their other rude behavior.

The naked/classic older styles can be very cool. Not for me, but they are cool.

I went in looking for a Ninja 650R, nice beginner bike, I wanted a black bike, they were out of '06 and '07s only come in blue and red. The salesman showed me everything (the dealer sells Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki and Ducati) in the beginner bike range (Ninja 250, 500, 650R, Suzuki SV650, GS500, Ducati Monster). I really liked the looks of the Kawi's, but not the colors. The Ducati was cool, but I did not like the riding position. The Suzuki's looks were simply not atractive to me. I'd almost resigned myself to a red 650R, when he asked if I'd consider a cruiser. I said, I'd look, he showed me the Suzuki M50 in black......it was love at first sight!!!!!......got a black M50 for 6K even.....the rest, well, I got it last Saturday and I put 100 miles on it on Sunday!!!!!!
