Bah, everyone knows the cure for a hangover is a big Bloody Mary.
My bar, for Shorts...

I am the Bloody Mary Queen when we go camping! Only they result in starting to drink at like 7:00 am. Can't have just one....
I'm trying to figure out how to have some drinks, not drink constantly

I know from years ago if you just don't stop drinking, you don't really get a hangover.... I'm trying to be mature about this!!

lol thanks for the bar shots guys

Unfortunately, no room in our place for a nice cabinet setup

We're still old school - buy a bottle the day you want it.
As for the hangover cure, there's none. Time, that's it. You can either puke up as much alcohol as you can, but the only way to get it out of the system is to let your body do the job. If your stomach won't let you keep anything down the next morning, no fighting it, you hae to wait it out until it lets you.
By the time you realize this should be your last drink, you've had 2 too many. The one right before is already down, and the one your downing is piling on. Best bet, put it down, puke it all up and drink ice water.
The most sane, difficult and least fun way to drink and not be hungover is alternate alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks (preferrably water). Eat heavy food just before drinking, and right after (I'm recalling my nights out at the dancehall, chinese for supper, whataburger at 3am).
Now, the ultimate way is if we could all go back in time and be able to drink like we're in our early 20s again

You got it, Shorts! I need a TIME MACHINE!!!
First - back me up to 23. That was a nice age...done with college, had some job for $, and could drink till 6am, wash my face, and go to work!! Not to mention, I was YOUNG! CAREFREE!! My heart hadn't even really been broken yet....
Second - I could back up to the trip to the bar for the drink that "puts me over the edge". Rewind...hmmm... I think I will make this one water, Mr.!
Third - even if I mess up and get FUBAR'd, I can use the machine to flash forward BEYOND my hangover. WOOOSH - it's over!!!
I am not a puker!! I know people that this is the thing - "take care of business" before going to bed. I have not actually puked from drinking since I was 15, and it wasn't from lack of trying!! Somewhere along the way, I think I lost the reflex. Overall, I never...not even with the flu.....Kind of good, kind of bad... At least you know you can trust me at sleepover
My hangovers are generally like a feeling of "rot" with a severely dibilitating headache. I don't mind the rot part (really) it's the head that keeps me horizontal...
I'm not sure what I'm doing or where I am going this weekend, but I'm going to pick a poision and go!!

Yeaa, I'm a puker. Not by choice lol
You know, I don't get hangover headaches. Never have. I only get nausia the morning after. My head is a little loopy, similar to the affect of taking a benadryl. But never a headache.

This guy in college once grabbed a bottle of Jack from behind the bar, chugged it all the way down, went right out flat on his back as he drank the last drop... he no sooner hit the floor, when it all came gushing right back out. I hated that kid, and I still find myself smirking at the image of him laying on the floor gushing....
Oh - the misuse and waste of JD was alcohol abuse!

I drink this stuff called Nuun. It's an electrolyte replacement without any of the unnecessary sugars (like those that come in gatoraide, etc). It comes in little tablets; I just break them into a bottle of water before I start drinking, and have another bottle an hour or two later. Works like a charm.
Nuun is MEANT to be a hydrator for bicyclist and whatnot. Works really well when I get dehydrated on long trips. I also found that (since I broke my collarbone when I went down last month) it helps your body heal a bit better. I guess when everything is hydrated properly (with all the salts and whatnot) it works pretty well.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in nuun...(was also shown in cycleworld)

.....wow....almost sounds like spam lol

I just bought them from nuun's website. I think they sell them at all sorts of bicycle places too.
