What's wrong with Texas? I'd kinda like to visit it, along with New Mexico, Arizona, New York, Alaska and most of all Montana.

I quite like that southern drawl.

Trust me, you don't want to visit New Mexico. NOBODY actually likes new mexico, the only people who live there were born there, and the only people who visit, are driving through it to go to another state. New mexico is gross, lots of trash... everywhere. You can be in the middle of the desert in new mexico, and there willl still be trash all over the place.

I love New Mexico.

New Mexico has the most amazing caves and caverns on earth. I spent a week there a couple years ago caving and doing cave and high-angle rescue.

Ah, a fellow spelunker eh? New mexico does have nice caves, I'll admit that, isn't Carlsbad Caverns in new mexico? I can't really remember, it's been a long time since I was there. But as far private (non-tourist) caves go, the south-east has the best by far. The georgia, tennessee, alabama triangle is the best for caves.

West Virginia ain't so bad either

I'm a caver. Carlsbad is the only commercial cave I've ever been to. Everything in New Mexico that isn't Carlsbad is either a dry hole in the side of a hill or the desert's equivalent of the sewer. Carlsbad makes up for it though. Totally mind-blowing.

I've been in the Waitomo caves in New Zealand.

So what your all saying is that the best parts of New Mexico are under New Mexico then?

I'll trade couches with you for a few nights. I would dearly love to get up and ride around BC. When you get ready to visit Texas, let me know and I'll put you up. I am 4 hours from Dallas, 3 from San Antonio, 5.5 from New Orleans, 45 minutes from Galveston, and 18 hours from Big Bend .

Hmmmm, I'll have to take a look at my map and see how far and how long it would take to get to Texas.
