In search of the perfect burger

For a chain, IN out Out is the best not only for burgers, but fries and shakes. I so wish they'd put on somewhere on the east coast.

I've had In and Out a few times. They were probably the worst burgers I've ever consumed.

Lefty's in Moscow is the only way to fly. That or the diner in Elk River, ID. Delicious!

It tastes excellent. No, I can't eat the whole thing, but I can consume the leftovers after a couple friends try their hands at it. Tasted great even as leftovers!

I'd be communist if I didn't like Zip's or Dick's Drive-In burgers more than In and Out.

If you ever get to Galveston, try The Spot at 34th and Seawall Blvd. (i think). The burgers are great, you get the meat and the bun and dress it yourself. The condiment bar has everything I could imagine putting on a burger. You can sit outside and watch the activities on the beach across the street. The onion rings are the best I've had and the beer is cold. It's also biker friendly!!

Wow. Never thought I'd hear someone mention that place on this site If you're talking about the Log Inn, just across the street from the airstrip in Elk River, I'm right with you. The Elk burger is excellent.

When I'm out riding, I like to eat, and I happen to like burgers, but not just any burger, I like to seek out the best. If you happen to be close to my home town of Alliance Ohio you should try the 1/2 pound Black Angus burger at "Grinders", or stop in at "Dougs 57" and grab one of his burgers or a foot long coney with onions and a basket of fries. One of the best burgers I found ever was in Dublin Ireland at a little pub called " The Elephant and Castle. So, if I were to be in your neck of the woods, clue me in as to where I can get a good burger. Any of you guys have a favorite burger joint that caters to bikers ??
