Ugh that looks so foul! Can you eat the whole thing?Skier wrote:I've had In and Out a few times. I so wish they'd put on somewhere on the east coast.
Lefty's in Moscow is the only way to fly. That or the diner in Elk River, ID. Delicious!
Lefty's challenge: two pounds of cooked beef, a milkshake and fries.
In search of the perfect burger

It tastes excellent. No, I can't eat the whole thing, but I can consume the leftovers after a couple friends try their hands at it. Tasted great even as leftovers!NightNurse wrote:Ugh that looks so foul! Can you eat the whole thing?Skier wrote:I've had In and Out a few times. I'd be communist if I didn't like Zip's or Dick's Drive-In burgers more than In and Out.-Holiday wrote:Seriously? You must be communist.Skier wrote: I've had In and Out a few times. They were probably the worst burgers I've ever consumed.

If you ever get to Galveston, try The Spot at 34th and Seawall Blvd. (i think). The burgers are great, you get the meat and the bun and dress it yourself. The condiment bar has everything I could imagine putting on a burger. You can sit outside and watch the activities on the beach across the street. The onion rings are the best I've had and the beer is cold. It's also biker friendly!!

If you happen to be close to my home town of Alliance Ohio you should try the 1/2 pound Black Angus burger at "Grinders", or stop in at "Dougs 57" and grab one of his burgers or a foot long coney with onions and a basket of fries. One of the best burgers I found ever was in Dublin Ireland at a little pub called " The Elephant and Castle. So, if I were to be in your neck of the woods, clue me in as to where I can get a good burger. Any of you guys have a favorite burger joint that caters to bikers ??
Here's some stuff within riding distance you may not have tried:
Fosters Tavern of Hickley
1382 Ridge Rd
Hinckley, OH 44233
(330) 278-2106
(330) 278-3256
Foster's has some really thick, kick-"O Ring" burgers. Very, very good. Also a really great beer selection, tons of microbrews and imports.
Hodge's Cafe
897 Wooster Rd W
Barberton, OH 44203
(330) 825-6073
Another great under-the-radar hamburger spot. A+
And you must attend this event:
http://www.hamburgerfestival.com/
It's in Akron, my town. I went last year and ate way too much. You can try a bunch because the vendors all sell 1/2 burgers.
Good luck!
