i have the best of both worlds-i have a 2002 Yamaha 50cc Vino scooter with a 1995 Heritage Softail Springer front fender light on it.i can only imagine how envious you people are!!!! parts off of Harleys rule.

i love those vinos...i toyed with buying one but im gonna hold out for a 250 Vespa...

they make a 200 vespa that does around 90 unrestricted its called the Gran Turismo, its a pretty sweet ride. My roomate is looking at getting one.

So far thats the largest motor in the vespa line.

yeah my mistake its a "suped up" vespa...bored out and everything....its all naked...i have it on file but i cant find a webpage anymore...

ill see if i cant find them...this pc has be built and rebuilt more times than i are to think about. there is stuff where it shouldnt be everywhere.

My dad still has his 1982 200cc Vespa that he bought brand new. I'm pretty sure its a two-stroke unlike the new Granturismo which is a four-stroke. But that thing tops out at 60-65. I'm sure the Granturismo utilizes newer technology to get more power from the same size engine.

Riding his Vespa is VERY different compared to my motorcycles. Even my small VTR250. The Vespa is SO maneuverable, that I feel wobbly on it. And the gear shifter being on the left hand grip is hard to get used to. Once you do, it's really fun to ride. It makes you wish you lived in a quaint town in Switzerland or Italy. That's where Vespas are most practical. The biggest disadvantage, is that you are less visible to cagers than on a full size motorcycle.

I'd always considered the Vespa's inablity to do 100 MPH to be it's biggest downfall.
