hah we were on the way to edmonton from calgary, and my poor maxim wouldnt get past red deer. i had to park it and hope it was there a week from then :P

the way back was the scariest thing tho guys - i hate not being in control and ridin the back. i dont know how chicks do it. uggh
It's called trust. We trust you to ride safely and make sure we enjoy the ride. There are certain people I would never ride behind...even if you paid me....
I have no problem riding pillion with someone that I know rides well and is conscious about their passenger.

It's no biggy to ride behind someone no matter what the gender. You guys (with the exception of maybe ElChado87), need to get over yourselves. Riding with another guy or behind your lady does not mean you are gay or a wimp.

I still think it's better if the passenger (me) doesn't outweigh the rider (her) by 2-to-1.

OMG, you have no idea... Here when you take the school to get your license, the teacher rides as passenger... has his own handle bars with breaks and all.. and it is soooo tough! he was not a huge guy but we was def more than me! Riding on my own was so much easier after that!

You and others in the same position have legitimate reasons. The squeamish ones are ...well...just that...squeamish.

I am reminded of John Candy and Steve Martin in Trains, Planes and Automobiles when they had to share a hotel room.

Spoken like a true member of the other sex :)

Its not about being gay a sook or a girly man, its about maintaining the idea of what it is to be a man ;) so when other men see us they automatically know, "now there is a man". You dont want other men confused or force them to think or consider any other possibilities other then "your a man"
