it's the whole look that goes with it.
Leather Chaps, Rebel Flag Bandanna, a Ton of Chrome, Police Windshield, 100 lights.
I would rather drive a Mini Van.
Wow - now that's original... Nothing like bringing up tired old topics (do a search around here - it's been discussed to death) with ridiculous stereotypes to boot.
I wave as long as I'm not busy on the controls, and I don't really pay attention to what type of "bikes" don't wave back. Most do wave back, but if they don't, I really don't care to judge what the reasoning is.
Wait - there was one guy I purposely didn't wave at, but it was only because he was busy scratching at his balls, and I was caught a bit off guard as I passed - didn't want to disturb his moment.
Cheers,
Loonette
oh come on Loonete, guys repositioning and scratching their "gear" is a natual and time honoured tradition. Just as it for you ladies when it comes to adjusting your over the shoulder boulder holders. Comfort first right?

Oh, absolutely. I was just a bit stunned is all. Reminds me of a time when I lived in Chicago, and while returning home from a friend's home on the west side, I saw a man running naked down Irving Park Rd. Well, he had on socks and running shoes - but that was it. Hey, humans are hilarious!! So scratch away!
Cheers,
Loonette
FIRST RESPONDERS DO IT WITH LIGHTS AND SIRENS!!
Find 'em hot, leave 'em wet...
Why is it always harley riders and sport bike riders in this discussion. We never talk about the real problem with wavers, those dirty beemer snobs. I've never had one of those jerks wave.

turd heads.
It seems like bikers pulling trailers wave at everyone
Carve it !
Roast it !
Wave at the Cruisers, as you fly by !
As a newbie, I was at a busy intersection on my little 125 Yamaha scooter. Across from me was a way-cool pony-tailed Harley rider with all his leather & bandana gear. (No helmet, not even half. Sigh.) He gave me such a big friendly wave and surprised me that I almost forgot to wave back (plus, I was concentrating fiercely on the intersection.) A few miles later, a sport rider pulls up next to me at a light, nods and says hi. We took off together under the light, which must have given the cars a smile. Of course, he was down the road before I was out of the intersection! But I was gratified to think that I wasn't "beneath" either one of them.
I pretty much wave to everyone, or at least nod. Most people wave or nod back..and if they don't oh well. But. if I see I don't wave..I wouldn't want anyone to associate me with them..lol
Luck often favors the one who doesn't count it in their plans
I am still pretty new so, I usually wait for them to wave at me.. If I see a hardcore dude on a Harley, and I notice him looking at me, I will just nod, and most of the time I get a nod back.
I am still in the new, and think its cool as hell to wave or be waved at. I find myself always smiling under my helmet when I get wave.
