I have never TOUCHED a bike until a month ago and never even been on one until the 2nd day of class. All in all, I am very proud of myself and am confident in my learning capabilities. Lets rock n' roll!

Do you have an idea why those 4 failed? I'm looking for more "what not to do" tips for the course.

If your course is anything like ours, just relax and have fun. Our instructors were really great and taught us everything we needed to learn for the test.

Honestly, the riding part is easy. Just listen to your instructor and don't be afraid to test your leaning capabilities; you will know if your over too far before its too late. My biggest problem was speed. Not maintaining it or over using it, but depending on it. I was great once I felt the wind in my hair. When we were practicing slow speed manuvering, I felt clumsy and would wobble to stay upright. When it came to testing I tensed. We were taught from the time we got on the bike to not look at the bike and feel for the controls. That was all fine until I had to maintain my speed from 12-17 mph. I had not even looked at the speedometer since exploring the features of the bike.

Oh man, you're making me envious. I still have a month yet before my course, understandably, they're calling for snow tonight - ugh. Congratulations on passing your course, your thoughts are helpful and an inspiration for the rest of us who wait with anticipation the beginning of our course. Have fun and enjoy your ride.
