The Mean Streak is consistently rated the best handling cruiser on the market by a pretty big margin. Problem is, here in the states, all people care about is displacement and horsepower. So, with the Kawasaki 2000 already in the stable, I'd like to see them shoe-horn the 2000's engine into a modified (aluminum) Mean Streak frame. If they could keep the weight, balance, and handling pretty much the same as it currently is, they would have the biggest V-Twin on the road in the best handling cruiser chassis.
Someone needs to make a replica of Kaneda's Bike from the anime movie, Akira.
Okay, it's probably never going to happen aside from a fan project or two, but I'd kill for that bike.
I'm such a dork.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I would love to see someone make a PRACTICAL standard. Take the riding position off of my 1982 GS1100E, so I don't need a chiroprator after a day of riding. Make the engine just under 900cc, for the insurance break. Add hydraulic valve adjusters, because I don't want to pull the cams once a year to do "simple" maintenance. If a manufacturer would make this bike, and commit to keeping it around for a decade, I am convinced it would sell. It would never be a sales leader, and they may take a year off production every few years to clear up inventory. It would be similar to the Suzuki Bandits, not a lot of new engineering costs, but it would bring in a steady, reasonable profit for the company.

We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

I'd never heard of the KLV before... looks a lot like a V-Strom. Hmmm, could that be a joint-venture unit? The V-Strom is reportedly so good the fun-factor alone is worth the price of admission.
Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?

The KLV is EXACTLY a v-strom just repainted and rebadged.
I want the cb1300 baad. I can't justify it tho cuz I can't bring it back to the states.
