mmm good getaway! That sounds like fun :)

3.8lbs in 10 days is doable. The safe mark is no more than 2lbs a week - and that's 'safe' for a realistic number that is true rather than including some water loss. But its a real plus to see your water intake is up during the day so that's nice :)

Don't sweat BMR. In training, trying to eat 2000cals/day was tough for me. I felt like I ate a lot just having 17-1800! Anyway, I linger around 13-1500 if I'm doing it right. But word of advice and caution, don't drop below 1200. The female human body needs approximately 1200 per day to function daily, minimum (males about 14). So, keep that in mind. I know some days you can come up short for a variety of reasons, it happens. Just try not to let it happen too often or else your setting yourself back a little bit.

Doesn't feel like you're totally stuffing yourself trying to maintain your calories??? lol Its a crazy inverse from what most people think

Man, don't I know it. I am usually constantly eating! As soon as you cut out the junk food, getting 1200 calories a day can be a pain in the butt.

Bonus: The chick at the gym who races offered to hook me up with personalized workouts based on my stats for FREE. She can't act as a personal trainer while she's working the desk, but she's offered to help me step it up a bit. Man, I've been dying for someone to just show me what I should be doing and how. I just have to go later at night when it's slow so she can step away from the desk :D

I am a newbie. I have taken dance classes for yrs. Ballet, tap, jazz etc. When I took the course & learned on a little 250 rebel I never thought I would be sore the next day. WOW!!! My legs & tummy felt it. But now I ride as much as I can & I guess I have worked those muscles more. But my butt still hurts if I go more than 1 hour without a 5 minute break. I guess I havent worked that muscle enough
