Kev and I did a 110 mile loop. Stinson, hwy 1, Olema, Point Reyes, all the way to the small town of Tomales. Had some lunch at this cool little sandwich place. We went back the same way but went home through Lucas Vally Road. That was a bad choice. The roads over there were wet and a bit slippery. I had an "oh poo poo" moment when I lost traction in the front and rear tire for a second. We finished off with our usual stop at Saulsalito. This time Reg let me use her transponder for the bridge. Man, that makes such a huge difference. = ) On another note. I'm suffering through a bought of bronchitis and it sucks big time!!! It feels like you actually cough out a dam lung. It seems as if I catch this crapola once a year. Sucks big time! Other than that the surf has been good. Here's a skull surfer I got from Mexico.
Good lord am i ever jealous of people actually getting to ride this time of year. The weather is nice but the side roads are covered with ice and the main roads are coated with gravel

Oh well, all the power to ya! keep posting, its getting me that much more pumped up to ride.

They just re-opened a new city pool in SF. Sava swimming pool named after the hardcore coach Charlie Sava who use to teach people how to swim by throwing them into the pool. At least that's what I've heard. It is a beautiful indoor pool though. One thing about San Francisco pools is that all the city pools are small compared to cities outside of SF. I guess there's more room to build an Olympic sized pool outside of SF. Everything in SF has to be built in a compact space. In fact, there's barely any room to build anymore. I guess that's why the property value is so dam high.

over the weekend...
I ordered some parts for my "Z" and my CBR. They came in. I ordered supermoto engineering axel blocks & sliders for my DRZ and frame sliders for my CBR. The stuff for my "Z" look trick and the added protection makes me feel better. Unfortunately, for the CBR I had to cut a hole in my fairing for the frame sliders. Man, I don't know about anyone else but for me taking off the 2008 CBR 1000rr fairing is a huge pain in the arse! Everything is so bunched up. I guess when Honda said they made a smaller, more maneuverable, more compact liter bike they meant it. I remember my gixxer was a lot more easier to work on than the CBR. My bro and I also changed the oil on his sumo and my XT. Finally felt a bit more productive instead of sitting here coughing my lungs out.

Here are the Woodcraft frame sliders for the CBR.

Wrecks - saw your crash... Wow, I am very glad you are ok - in fact mostly intact after that incident.
You keep talking about your gear - what is this Dainese Leather and where can I get one or one set.
I'll search the web too, but if you have a special online merchant that works well with this gear - I'd appreciate a vendor to check out.
Thanks,
RhadamYgg

I don't have a special online dealer but we're lucky to have one of the Dainese stores in our city. The D-store website is http://www.dainese.com/eng/home.asp You can also check cyclegear.com they carry Dainese stuff. One thing I have to say about Dainese stuff is that its not cheap but you get exactly what you pay for. Another thing about Italian leather is once you get a pair you'll never go back to cheaper stuffWrecks - saw your crash... Wow, I am very glad you are ok - in fact mostly intact after that incident. rain...
Well its finally raining here in SF. We definitely need it. All of California is short of water for this time of year. Here are some random pictures.

Here's a horse I meet during one of my rides.

Here's a funny fortune I got from a Chinese restaurant. It reminds me of engrish.com which is a website of mostly Japanese things translated in English that mean nothing or saying something crazy. I think my fortune meant to say 'about time i got out of that pickle' but who knows what they were trying to say.

I've been checking out slip-on's for 'stubby'. I thought I was going to end up with a Yoshi slip on but I checked out the Leo Vince and I think it looks cool. A lot of people don't dig the look but I like it. Im always into weird looks that others don't dig anyway. Here's a picture of it. It almost reminds me of the "ricola' commercials.

It's also been raining for the past week. My rain gear's been holding up pretty good. I just got some goodies for the DRZ too. Little touch up stuff. Cycle gear messed up my order for my front Galfer stainless steel brake lines for my "Z". Hopefully that will come by the end of the week.
Im still trying to sell my Vemar - Jiano, Sm Matte Black flip-up Helmet on Craigslist. Still no luck. Here's a picture of it.
