Okay guys and gals this is how it all goes down. There is an outisde force to all this. My boss is a bike rider too and he's heavily in sportbikes. So I was being gently pushed into somethiing that I enjoy doing anyway. I still have the Buell and had a CBR1000RR street fighter last year. However, I'm sort of not ready to commit to such a course of action because I'm just not in the right state of mind or body for it yet.

In the past few days, well a bit longer than that, I've had a series of deals that would get me two CBR1000RR ABS for actually little money. I have the parts for a 3rd already, except it's missing a fairing. (no small expense) It's not ABS but runs like a scauled ape other wise. But my sport bike friends have been telling me that a 1000RR was a waste because outside of picking up tickets why else was I going to ride it. So I started to think of a 600RR as an alternative. There are reasons that I stick with Honda.

Okay so far?

For now I've choosen to give my boss a Fat Bob that I had built for a customer and then the buyer backed out of the deal. No problem, I had sizable deposit for it and it would be a good ride for me. Anyway, he is excited about it and has more than a few riding partners to keep him company. And though I sound like a mother hen, I feel safer with him riding the Bob at a more relaxed pace. He's a friend but also my boss, so him dropping his CBR in a corner has me worried.

So as now, I have a complete 1000RR ABS just waiting to be put together. If I don't ride it, no great lost, I have buyers for it now, However, my new Street Glide has ABS and If not it, I'm never short a ride. I have the Buell and/or the XR1200 to go through the twisties with.

So there are several people here that are right and I need to wake up and smell the coffee. Or in my case, Pepsie Max.

This growing up thing is a bit of a chore, :D
