Ride to Boston Bar Wednesday September 30
Meet at the Petro Canada on Brunette at Blue Mountain (near Hwy 1).
We will leave at
10am with full gas tanks.
The plan is to ride over the Golden Ears Bridge (if nobody objects to the tolls) then Hwy 7 to Hope for a coffee stop and bathroom break...
Then the Fraser Canyon to Boston Bar for lunch. (don't expect 5 star dining.
)
After lunch, back down the canyon to Hope and then possibly Hwy 1 to get home.
Fuel can be got at Hope or Boston Bar...
This time of the year the weather can be very changeable, so pack rain gear just in case we get rained on while out...
Cancelled if the day starts off raining...

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 13 and a 70% chance of rain on Thursday.

Oh yuck...The temperature is fine...but the precip....bad....Wednesday looks half decent at this point.....
I changed it to Wednesday....
is a certain doc going to go?

We stopped in at the Blue Moose Cafe in Hope for coffee. Very good.
The restaurant in Boston Bar where we went for lunch today.
We only got about ten minutes of rain today.
It was quite chilly in the canyon. But the hot chocolate we had in Abbotsford on the way back helped.
There weren't even any traffic problems coming home.

This coming Friday is suppose to be nice with temps in the high teens.....plus its my flex day, so any rides planned?
