This thread started off so wrong with you saying that you wanted a busa or duc for ur first bike. But now you have explained that you like speed, are taking a racing course, and may consider a ninja to tool around on. I must say that my opinion of you has changed. You seem that you just want speed but are going in the right direction of obtaining it. If you are truely looking for a race bike, i would highly, highly, highly suggest the 05 or soon to come 06 Yamaha R6. Again, I also like the Aprilla. I got a Ninja so that I could learn how to ride comfertably on the street and roads. When I get a hold of that and have money after college, I will probably get a R6 or alike and either race that, or race the ninja 500. Happy looking![/quote]
Yah, i guess i did kinda make myself look like a friggin idiot on my first post, but i was really trying to keep it short. I know how easy it would be to kill myself. Hell, its still easy to die even if you have a lot of experience. And yes, i know i need a good bit of experience before i get on a beast like that.
And thanks for the recommendations. I'll definately look into the R6 and the Aprilla. I just wanna know, will both of them be able to fill my need for speed and still be reliable for me? And do they handle well?
