Yeah I had an instructor who once worked on one of their bikes. He said that the bike had less than 100 miles on it and it had already started to fray it's drivebelt. When he looked into the reason, he found that the pulleys for the drive were 3 CM off. That may not sound like much, but 30 MM is a freaking HUGE margin of error there.

LOL what a bunch of morons!

Can you imagine them doing the timing belts on their customer's Ducatis? Some of the older engines have real tight pulleys that love to spring out of position and I can easily see them putting it on one tooth off.

so basically the only reason why they're famous is due to the drama on the show and bling bling. Goes to show the IQs of many Americans...

I have always said that show was a bunch of crock and that the bikes were only for looking at.. none of this really comes as a surprise to me..

Yeah but like Ozzy and Sharon it's a soap opera, no more, no less - just with better scenery. I can live with it on that level, but would rather watch Biker Buildoff or something...

ok, so as I've been recovering from the accident, I watched any NUMBER of bike shows - build offs, etc on TV... and NO ONE wears helmets and almost never any jacket with armor.
I hate that. Just sayin'

It's not cool though is it? If it was good enough for James Dean it will probably get me killed too...

Sounds like a lotta sour grapes here. Those OC guys stumbled onto a formula that works for TV. Call them what you want but don't call them stupid. Sure there are hundreds, or thousands even, better fabricators, mechanics, etc. out there from Golden Gate to Rockaway but these guys had the formula that translated into $$$. No reason to hate on them just because they put together a dumb-butt show that the public loves. Hell, even my mother, who doesn't know the difference between a CZ and a chopper, watches that show. I think she has a thing for the old guy with the big guns. -dayll

No sour grapes besides the fact that their bikes suck. I could care less about their personal squabbles. I wouldn't watch the show because of that, but I wouldn't buy a bike of theirs because of the quality.
